अपाङ्गता भएका ब्यक्तिहरुलाई नेतृत्व बिकास सम्बन्धि दुई दिने अभिमुखीकरण तालिम सम्पन्न ।

अपाङ्गता भएका महिलाहरूको महासंघ नेपाल (FWDN) ले अपाङ्गता तथा विकास साझेदार (DDP, UK) यूकेको आर्थिक साझेदारितामा तथा कागेश्वरी मनोहरा नगरपालिकाको समन्वयमा कागेश्वरि मनोहराका स्वावलम्बन समूहमा आवद्द भएका अपाङ्गता भएका ब्यक्तिहरुलाई नेतृत्व बिकास सम्बन्धि दुई दिने अभिमुखीकरण तालिम २०८२/११/४-५ (२०२५ फेब्रुअरी १६-१७) गते कागेश्वरी मनोहरा नगरपालिकामा स्थित व्यंजन रिसोर्ट, थली, कागेश्वरि मनोहरामा सम्पन्न भएको थियो l उत्त २ दिने नेतृत्व विकास तालिममा अपाङ्गता भएका ब्यक्तिहरुलाई समावेस गरि गठन गरिएका ५ वटा समुहका ३-४ जना प्रतिनिधि सदस्यहरूको सकृय सहभागिता र उपस्थिति रहेको थियो l उक्त तालिमको मुख्य उद्देश्य भनेको अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको समूह वा सस्थामा नेतृत्व गर्ने कलाको बिकास, आत्मविश्वासमा अभिबृद्दी, स्वावलम्बन समूहमार्फत आफ्नो हक, हित र अधिकार दाबि गर्न सक्ने, अपाङ्गता सम्बन्धि सचेतना जागरण एवं संचलान तथा निर्णय प्रक्रिया र सस्थागत बिकास सम्बन्धि सिप तथा क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गरी समूह तथा सस्था मार्फत स्थानीय स्तरको विकास प्रक्रियामा अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिका अर्थपूर्ण सहभागिता जनाउन सक्षम बनाउनु रहेको थियो। कार्यक्रममा कागेश्वोरी मनोहरा नगरपालिकाको तर्फबाट बालबालिका जेष्ठ नागरिक तथा सामाजिक सुरक्षा शाखाकी शाखा प्रमुख श्री सबिना कुमारी श्रेष्ठ ज्युको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो l त्यसैगरी, परियोजनाको प्राविधिक साझेदार संस्था नेपाल अपाङ्ग मानव अधिकार केन्द्र (DHRC Nepal) का कार्यकारी निर्देशक श्री जगदीश प्रसाद अधिकारी पनि अतिथिको कार्यक्रममा उपस्थित हुनुभएको थियो । उक्त तालिममा सहजकर्ताका रुपमा अपाङ्गता र लैङिगक समाबेशि अधिकार बिज्ञहरु FWDN का अध्यक्ष निर्मला धिताल, महासचिब रमा ढकाल र नेपाल अपाङ्ग महिला संघकी अध्यक्ष एवं अपाङ्गता र लैङिगक समाबेशि अधिकार बिज्ञ मीना पौडेलले सहजिकरण गर्नु भएको थियो । यस तालिममा सक्रिय भूमिका निभाउनु भएका सबै सहभागीहरु, कागेश्वोरी मनोहरा नगरपालिका, नेपाल अपाङ्ग मानव अधिकार केन्द्र, अपाङ्गता तथा विकास साझेदार (DDP, UK), सहजकर्ताहरु र FWDN का कर्मचारीहरूप्रति हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त गर्दछौ । The Federation of Women with Disabilities Nepal (FWDN), with financial partnership from Disability and Development Partners (DDP, UK) and in coordination with Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, successfully conducted a two-day orientation training on Leadership Development for persons with disabilities who are members of self-reliance groups in Kageshwori Manohara. The training was held on 2082/11/4–5 (February 16–17, 2025) at Byanjan Resort, Thali, Kageshwori Manohara, KTM. In the two day leadership development training, 3–4 representative members from each of the five groups formed by and including persons with disabilities actively participated and attended the program. The main objective of the training was to develop leadership skills among persons with disabilities within their groups or organizations, enhance their self-confidence, and empower them to claim their rights, interests, and entitlements through self-reliance groups. The training also aimed to build awareness on disability issues and strengthen skills and capacities related to mobilization, decision-making processes, and institutional development, thereby enabling meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in local development processes through their groups and organizations. From Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, Ms. Sabina Kumari Shrestha, Chief of the Children, Senior Citizens, and Social Security Section, was present at the program. Similarly, Mr. Jagadish Prasad Adhikari, Executive Director of the Nepal Disabled Human Rights Center (DHRC Nepal), the project’s technical partner organization, also attended the event as a guest. The training was facilitated by disability and gender inclusion rights experts: Ms. Nirmala Dhital, President of FWDN; Ms. Rama Dhakal, General Secretary of FWDN; and Ms. Meena Poudel, President of Nepal Disabled Women Association.
